lets do dis ting!
Bag
This is my bag. I bought it from the Ted Baker store in Canary Wharf, London around Christmas 2015. So I had it for a very long time. I actually can't remember how much I bought it for. I think it's originally around £140 and I remember it being reduced a few quids so I just grabbed it. It come's with a flat clutch like purse which is very handy. I use it to put in carrier bags which I re-use (ever since the whole 5p bag thing lool). Ted Baker brands are very elegant and feminine in my opinion and I find their products really good quality. I usually go for black bags as an everyday wear because it goes with most of my outfits especially for work. I wouldn't wear this kind of bag with trainers though.
Inside my bag
When you take a peek inside my bag, it actually isn't that overwhelming as you think it would be compared to most women. Here's what you would find inside.
Umbrella - t's been raining alot past week so even if it wont be raining today or tomorrow, my umbrella is always sitting at the bottom of my bag. You just never know with London weather. Think dad bought this when he went Bangladesh and I just happened to take it and own it.
Deodorant - What female doesn't carry a deodorant around with her. Currently I have the 'Sure motion-sense invisible aqua' from Superdrugs.
Work ID pass - This pass gives me access to go into the building that I work... And every f*kin door in there. Some next level security, annoying as hell. I could type up a whole different post about this, but lets not get too ahead now. So yeah, it's always sitting in my bag so I never leave it behind.
Purse
The black purse seems like it came with my Ted Baker bag. Literally the exact material with the gold bar at the top just like the bag. It was actually from New Look for £10. I was quite lucky to spot it first thing when I went into the store in the bags and purse section. I just knew I had to buy it as it matched perfectly with the bag.
Ok I know that it's quite common and known for most women to fill their bag up with everything and anything, in other words; rubbish π me on the other hand, I may seem the opposite but take a look in my purse and you'll find all these excess shiiittt. This may aswell be a "what's in my purse" post ha!
I do have clean up sessions of my purse/bag every few months or so but there's always one batch that I never clear out and that's the cinema receipts. I don't know why, but I like keeping the tickets to all the movies I've paid to watch. I've been keeping them for years so it's become some sorta collecting hobby. Don't judgeee i don't know whyy i do dis lol!
Like any normal people, I always carry some cash. Atleast 1 note and some spare change. As soon as I use up my note, I'd make sure I go pull out another. It's always handy to have some money on you.
I have 2 debit cards, 1 that I leave at home and 1 with me in my purse. The 1 in my purse has limited amount of money as I use this card for almost everything; contactless payments, online shopping, for travelling around, tapping here tapping there. It's getting used and abused. So on the safe side, I only have limited amount of money on the card I carry around. So try rob me people cos having access to this card you won't find much heehee πΌ
I also have loyalty cards (Nandos and Superdrugs), my Idea store (library) card, my NI number card (cos I can never memorise any sort of numbers so I carry it around), and my provisional drivers licence card (had this for almost 5 years, still haven't got round to taking lessons FML).
There's also a small piece of paper folded in one of the compartments which I keep with my parents numbers written on it just for emergencies. I'm braindead when trying to memorise numbers so I have to have it written.
And finally that pink bookmark looking strip is actually some offer I cut out from a cereal-bar box. The Kellogg's 2 for 1 offer for London attractions. I'm hoping to use it this weekend to visit the London Aquarium
Makeup bag
I'm not too fussy about make up bags. Like it's just a mini bag to store your makeup and few essentials in when going out. Mine was actually free from the Superdrug store. Some offer I think, I actually have no idea. I remember just paying for my items and I was told by the cashier I can get a free makeup bag, choice of 2 colours; black or the baby pink one I have. It was perfect size and quality so it has become my makeup bag. Only off-putting thing is the bloody "#nofilterneeded" text at the front. Couldn't it have been just a plain pink makeup bag? Nope, it had to have some cringy words on it which I find myself covering sometimes so no one reads it thinking what on earth made this woman buy that. Aah well, it was free. I got over it.
My makeup bag includes;
- Just 2 lipsticks (Gerrard 1995 liquid lipstick and the MAC velvet teddy matte lipstick)
- LA Girl lip liner (some pinkish/red colour)
- Real Techniques expert blender makeup brush.
- Vaseline (I have the cocoa butter which I found out isn't halal!! contains alcohol so I need a new one ASAP!)
- A few plasters (Handy when you wear heels.. buludy blisters)
- Handcream (Some travel size one from Tesco. verr verr usefolz)
- Compact mirror (Love this! Bought it from my trip to Saudi Arabia, Makkah. It's personalised with my name written in Arabic and English. A little souvenir).
